Immerse yourself in the exotic wildlife of Chitwan National Park, promising an unparalleled encounter with nature. What sets this tour apart is its flexibility—you can opt for an all-air, all-land, or a combination of air and land travel. For instance, a swift 25-minute flight transports you to Chitwan, or you can opt for a scenic 5-hour drive through picturesque countryside.
However, note that there are no direct flights between Chitwan and Pokhara. To bridge this gap, choose between a quick 30-minute flight or a leisurely 6 to 7-hour drive from Pokhara back to Kathmandu. Whether you prefer the efficiency of air travel or the scenic route by land, this tour caters to diverse preferences, ensuring a fulfilling exploration of Nepal's cultural, natural, and wildlife wonders.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Today is generally a free day with no scheduled tour activities. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the bustling area of Thamel and have dinner at a local restaurant or return to your hotel for the evening.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Exploration
Commencing around 9 or 9:30 am after breakfast, our sightseeing adventure begins. An introduction to the tour guide will be provided by one of our representatives. A professional guide will accompany you throughout the day as you visit significant sites in Kathmandu, including Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and the Old Royal Palace at Kathmandu Durbar Square. (Breakfast included)
Day 3: Mountain Flight, Bhaktapur & Patan Tour
Enjoy breakfast with a beautiful sunrise before heading to Nagarkot and then Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur, an ancient city in the Kathmandu Valley, is worth exploring for a day. After the Bhaktapur tour, we'll drive to Patan, another charming city, to visit the famous Krishna Temple and the Golden Gate. The day concludes with a return to Kathmandu, where you can unwind in your hotel in the evening. (Breakfast included) If interested, an optional Everest Mountain flight can be arranged in the morning.
Day 4: Drive to Chitwan and Exploration
Embark on a scenic 4 to 5-hour drive to Chitwan. Arriving by late lunchtime, you can rest and participate in one or two optional activities in the afternoon.
Day 5: Full Day Exploration in Chitwan National Park
Experience a full day of adventure in Chitwan National Park, including an elephant ride, birdwatching, jungle walk, tour of the Elephant Breeding Center, canoe ride, and Tharu cultural dance.
Day 6: Drive to Pokhara and Leisure
Depart Chitwan for a picturesque 4-hour drive to Pokhara, arriving by lunchtime. The afternoon is yours to explore the lakeside area of Pokhara at your leisure.
Day 7: Full Day Sightseeing in Pokhara
A day of extensive sightseeing in Pokhara, beginning with a visit to Sarangkot for sunrise and mountain views. Explore Davi’s Falls, the International Mountain Museum, and Gupteswor Cave.
Day 8: Drive to Kathmandu
Embark on a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Optionally, enjoy a cable car ride en route to Kathmandu, providing an exhilarating experience over mountain villages.
Day 9: Leisure Day in Kathmandu
A full day at leisure in Kathmandu. Explore the vibrant Thamel area and prepare for your departure the next day.
Day 10: Trip Conclusion
Our tour concludes today. We will transfer you to the airport according to your flight time, or you may choose to join other tours.
